A Dream Come True for Stageworks Theatre:
JCJ Architects Complete Construction Documents for New Theatre!
Stageworks' new theatre will come to life through the generosity and consummate skills of Johnson Cartwright Jarman (JCJ) Architects, P.A., a Tampa firm that has worked pro bono for more than two years on this project. The company’s principals are A. Douglas Johnson, W. Scott Cartwright and Kevin L. Jarman, and they design all styles of architecture — from modern to traditional. The group recently completed four new school additions, a restaurant, a church and several residential projects.
"Our company has always believed the Arts are important," notes architect Cartwright, “so when Stageworks needed a new facility to better serve theirs and the community’s needs, we were happy to assist them.” Cartwright admits Stageworks’ new area possessed some challenges. “Because the space is located within the condominium’s interior,” he says, “the seating area had to be fit between existing constraints. But when it’s completed, this 99-seat theater will be very adaptable to different productions.”
JCJ Architects (www.jcjarchitects.com), which offers competitive fees for their services, is happy to meet with anyone affiliated with Stageworks for residential or commercial projects. And Stageworks — deeply indebted to JCJ for its continued support — will offer a free Stageworks Season Pass for anyone who meets with JCJ for a design project. Call Scott Cartwright at 813 254-0501.
